The “Purgatorio” is made 100% from Mt. Etna’s favorite grape varietal Nerello Mascalese. This wine has lovely mineral-laced notes with flavors of roasted cherry, sour plum, and strawberries, which are lifted up with red floral notes and touch of rusticness that is delivered by a hint of smoke and bit of earthy mushrooms that invites the long and suave finish. All Italian. All delicious.
