Made from 90% Mencia and 10% Garnacha Tintorera, winemaker Laura Lorenzo has created a bold and spicy wine with juicy fruit and savory tones. Fresh and easy drinking, the Portela do Vento opens with flavors of jammy fruits and lavener that is accentuated by undertones of grilled meat and dried cherry. The sharp acidity lends itself to be perfectly paired with bold flavors of caramelized meats.
