Enderle and Moll Muschellkalk, Pinot Noir

This wine comes from a small, cult natural winery in southern Germany and is the epitome of the type of producers we love to find at here at Mayfield. This grand cru Pinot Noir is energetic and complex from the get go. The fruit is beautifully expressed with notes of bing cherry, dried strawberries, and wild blackberries. But there is much more to this Pinot than fruit. As it evloves on the palate the coimplexity becomes clear with flavors of rose water, pine, and forest floor. This is truly the best of what ripe stems can offer the Pinot Noir varietal in the glass.
